How does personal development work?
Imagine our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and perceptions of reality as pieces of a very large complex puzzle. The picture this puzzle represents is the sum total of our emotional life experiences, relationships, acquired and learned knowledge, skills, and abilities. It also represents our life story with millions of ‘perception, behavior, and dialog scripts’. These create the conscious narratives (our perceptions of reality) we believe, consider, and act upon as we interact with ourselves and others in mental, physical and social environments. These scripts and narratives also influence and affect the relationships we have with ourselves, others, and how we interact with the world around us.
Once we are aware of actionable self improvement options (beneficial behavior and dialog scripts), we can make choices and take action to improve the quality of our life and relationships.
Our primary objective is to create life and relationship puzzle pieces (behavior and dialog script narratives) that contribute to our wellbeing, peace of mind, and prosperity in relationships. As we begin to inspect and respectfully question the scripts in each piece of our life puzzle, we can observe, identify, and determine which are functional and add meaningful value to our life and those that do not. Once we identify a dysfunctional script in a puzzle piece, we can easily conclude it does not belong to us. It is not original to us. In fact, it never belonged to us. What this means is that we identified one of many dysfunctional and adversarial behavior or dialog scripts our subconscious has unwittingly gathered from others, on our behalf, throughout our life.
How our perception, behavior, and dialog scripts are activated, automated, and animated? We can easily observe and define that all of our perception, behavior and dialog scripts are powered by emotions. Each emotion we experience is made up of specific combinations of biochemicals. These allow us to energetically express our emotional feelings and behavior as we perceive and respond to the world around and within us. Again, biochemicals fuel emotions. Emotions fuel thoughts, behaviors, dialogue, and outcomes. They also regulate our perceptions of reality associated with future responses. In other words, as we observe and experience the world, our biology is hard at work taking notes that alter and update our vast perception and response database.
Over time, we can observe our responses (behavior and dialog scripts) being expressed in three basic ways. Willful, reflex, and involuntary.
Willful: Intention; deliberate.
In this course we will explore Freewill. If it exists, what are the conditions for it to be accessed, influenced, and expressed?
*Our point of view, supported by thousands of years of adversarial and dysfunctional examples throughout human history demonstrates that “FREEWILL” is only capable of being expressed and exercised through High Universal Values. E.G. kindness, respect. compassion, gratitude, etc…. Otherwise, observation again demonstrate that the emotionally fueled perceptions, behavior, and dialog scripts from others in the form of generational, adversarial, and dysfunctional beliefs and ideologies can distort our perceptions of reality by chemically imprinting them in our subconscious as a belief and bias. This means that if we do not question the perceptions of reality which are connected to dysfunctional reflex behaviors we unwittingly acquired from others, we will continue to be controlled and manipulated by these low human perception scripts. This also means that as we observe our biology automating these undesirable behaviors, we can see they are occasionally resistant to external influences. We refer to these reflex automated behaviors as “Confirmation Bias” and “Cognitive Dissonance”. This means that there are specific subconscious self defense programming built into the human condition that resists the change of these dysfunctional behavior narratives and perception scripts. For example. People with opposing views unsuccessfully trying to convince the others that their position is the right one. If we spend time observing our own behavior and others we will see these defensive mechanisms in action as it opposes more accurate, reasonable, and logical information. As a result, we can also observe that dysfunctional narratives often contribute to the creation of unreasonable justification for disrespectful and adversarial reflex behavior. Meaning those who are opposed and upset are not in control of themselves to the degree they are emotionally bound to their beliefs and biases. Basically, they are passengers/hostages in their own bodies as it animates and expresses these undesirable subconscious scripts. This in turn, devalues, dehumanizes, and debilitates us and others. These genetic vulnerabilities are often been used by ideologies to manipulate those who are susceptible to fear, threat, and anger inducing emotional influences.

Freewill: Voluntary choice or decision: Freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes. ( This vague definition does not begin to explain what Free Will can be and the conditions for it’s expression. Nor, how it can be used to intentionally write new perception, behavior, and dialogue scripts that in the relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around and within us).
How many willful and voluntary options do you perceive and decisions are you making every day that benefit and enhance the quality of your life and relationships?
How many generational, adversarial, dysfunctional, belief and ideological scripts are distorting your perceptions of reality that degrade the quality of your life and relationships? How many of these scripts playout on a daily basis controlling, influencing, and manipulating your thoughts, emotions, behavior? How soon would you like this to permanently change? How much would this ability improve the quality of your life and relationships? How great would you feel about yourself being able to do this?
A simple truth is that we can only change that which we are aware of and ready to peacefully resolve. If we do not question dysfunction, disrespect, and destructive adversarial perceptions and behavior, they will remain an active part of our lives, infecting our relationships with toxic outcomes.

Observation of Subconscious Behavior
Our subconscious aspect of mind, does not appear to be genetically programmed to differentiate between true or false, functional or dysfunctional, and fantasy or reality. This appears to be a primary function of our conscious awareness and reasoning aspects of mind. However, our subconscious does appear to be programmed to gather (acquire) and record emotional environmental influences as potential future responses. This emotional response data is stored and updated in our memory response database for future use. This appears to occur every time we observe or experience familiar people, places, things, ideas, and environment conditions from our past. As such, this reveals one of the subconscious prime directives. That is to help us survive, adapt, and thrive into the future. This is accomplished by recording every emotional value we observe and experience that triggers neuroplasticity and synaptic pruning (process for creating, updating, and enhancing our memory behavior responses) to filter, imprint (record), and update relevant and relative content and context. Thereby, causing this information and our perceptions to mature over time.
The subconscious also appears to store and recall information from our past based on the current focus of our attention. When we monitor the dialog scripts and imagery the subconscious sends to our conscious mind, we are observing which perceptions, thoughts, emotions, and behavior scripts it has complied from our memory response database. These responses will generally be options for us to choose and act upon, or reflex involuntary animated responses. Overtime, we can see the patterns of behavior our biology has been unwittingly acquiring from others and our experiences throughout our lives. Those perception, thought, behavior, and dialogue scripts that are in alignment with High Universal Values, E.G., kindness, respect, compassion, gratitude, etc., as relationship supporting behaviors we want to keep. Everything else, needs to be calmly questioned and discarded, but replaced relationship building and self-supportive scripts.
Here To Evolve provides life enhancing Self Awareness and Personal Development exercises, skills, and tools which are designed to be quickly learned and applied. The course exercises and skill development are mechanical in nature. Meaning, we can observe and influence our biochemistry in beneficial ways. This allows us to quickly idenity and remove or convert dysfunctional and undesirable behaviors into to functional behaviors using conscious neuroplasticity and synaptic pruning. In the same way we focus on beneficial repetitive exercise and proper nutrition to habituate health and relationship supportive behavior.
This process begins with observing and understanding the cause and effect of our bodies chemistry and biomechanics. This means that every human emotion we are capable of feeling, expressing, and experiencing is made of specific chemicals combinations by our cells, microorganisms, and organs. These chemical processes influence and manipulate our mind (thoughts) and automate and animate our behaviors (emotions) based on the focus of our attention. Much of this biochemical influence and automation takes place without our conscious knowledge and consent. This means that as we feel and experience most negative emotions we are generally not in control of our reflex responses as much as we think we are. In fact it could said that as we are expressing deeply troubling emotions we have little to no control of ourselves. The lack of self-control is based on types and quantities of biochemicals being produced and flowing through our system. They not only determine what and how we will feel specific emotions, automate and animate our bodies to respond in a predetermined way, but they can alter and distort our perceptions of reality.
When this occurs a serious question needs to be respectfully considered in order to change these undesirable behaviors: “Who or what is controlling our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and perceptions of reality?”
Observation being one of our primary tools of discovery, allows us to trace and track the potential origin of these undesirable perceptions and behaviors. Then, we can use comparative reasoning to compare life and relationship interactions and outcomes based on the perceptions, behavior, and dialogue response scripts our biology has been gathering on our behalf to determine of these offer the best relationship supporting options in alignment with High Universal Values. For example. “This makes me feel horrible. I don’t like being treated this way or treating others which way”. Or, “this makes me feel wonderful or this makes me feel really good about relationship”. Then compare. Which of these behaviors and outcomes do I want in my life more often?
At this point, you are receptive to change. Therefore, the more time you spend considering behavior options based on kindness, compassion, respect, gratitude in the relationship you have with yourself and others, your lives begin to incrementally improve.

How and why do the mechanics of High Human Behavior Traits benefit everyone?
High Human Behavior Traits not only help our body maintain a healthier sense of balance/homeostasis, but contributes to more consistent positive states of mind and emotional wellbeing. These body and mind mechanics are easily observable in how we think, feel, interact, and react towards ourselves, others and challenging conditions in the environment. Practicing high human behavior traits on a daily basis translates into reduced anxiety, stress, pain, and suffering that are common among people who are exposed and vulnerable to stressful living, working, and social conditions. This is compounded by aggressive adversarial and dysfunctional ideologies that use global news and social media to influence and manipulative people with disempowering and dehumanizing propaganda.

Please keep in mind it has probably taken many of you years to reach out for help. We are very compassionate and understanding about your pain, suffering, challenges, and struggles. Our goal is to help all of you the best way we are capable.
This means that in order to help you discover and travel a path through your challenges that works best for you it requires a high level of commitment, persistence, urgency, and focus of attention on your part to achieve what you truly desire. This also means you will be required to honestly and sincerely investigate, research, discover, learn, and apply specific relevant information and tools that are designed to help you achieve your objectives in meaningful personal development through micro-goal setting.
With this said, there will be a lot of reading and practicing exercises. We highly recommend that you research related resources online or in a library (remember those) in Neuroscience, Biology, Epigenetics, Psychology, ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, PolyVagal Therapy, and others that may be applicable and beneficial to you.
There are tens of millions of incredible dedicated people in medicine and science around the world contributing to our knowledge. They certainly deserve our appreciation and gratitude for their time and effort.

- Agree that this is your incredible Human Experience. At the end of each day, it is only what you make it. When you learn to treat yourself and others with respect, kindness, and gratitude you will experience more joy and rewards in your life.
- Agree to TRUST yourself to be respectful at all times. Learn through practice, how respect and trust plays a major role in quality of every relationship we will ever have. Trust yourself to always to kind and honorable when opportunities present themselves.
- Agree to learn how biochemicals make up the emotions which fuel the human condition and our involuntary and reflex behavior responses. Understanding that we can positively influence ourselves and refocus our attention to higher value emotions is a skill set. If we don’t like the way we feel, we can focus on something of value that takes us to neutral.
- Agree to learn how neutral mental and emotional states offer the most reasonable options available for us to consider and act upon.
- Agree to learn how the biochemicals which make up human emotions play an active role in neuroplasticity and synaptic pruning. Observing and tracking reflex behaviors helps us learn about the patterns and biomechanics that are crucial in more effectively managing, reprogramming, and removing involuntary, adversarial, undesirable, and dysfunctional behaviors from our lives.
- Agree to question everyone and everything that is or appears dysfunctional and adversarial. Either the thought, emotion, words, or behavior is functional, meaningful, and in alignment with high human behavior traits, or it’s dysfunctional and of no value.
- Agree to learn how to become your own best friend by incorporating High Human Behavior Traits into your daily life. Observing and knowing the differences between universal high human behavior traits and low behavior traits increases self and spatial awareness. It is important to create a mental and emotional gauge based on high human traits and behaviors to help guide decisioning making options. This gauge can function as a compass and benchmark to help us navigate life by making more honest, beneficial, and respectful choices.
- Agree to cultivate curiosity to learn new things. Every new thing we learn begins with emotional curiosity and questioning. When we observe and compare the behaviors and outcomes from past and current adversarial ideologies and dysfunctional belief systems to universal high human behavior traits we can see the differences and misalignments more easily.
- Agree to Be honest, reasonable, and patient with yourself. Practice being reasonable, honest, understanding, patient, and tolerant with yourself. Then practice interacting and expressing the same towards others. Approaching every interaction and conversation with high human values will help ensure better quality relationships and outcomes.
- Agree to observe and learn that all human motivation and behavior is based on biochemical rewards. There is literally nothing you will think, say, do, or feel that does not involve some kind of reward. The more you understand how to influence and control your own biochemistry through high human behavior traits, the more you can improve the quality of your life and others.

High Universal Values
As mankind, each of us are adventuring co-creators, story-tellers, living in a beautiful, creative, intelligent, and energetic conscious universe we call home. I know, many people have referred to their life experience as hell on earth. Some view their lives as heaven on earth. Many seem somewhat indifferent because they perceive their lives and Mankind as perpetually conflicted and gullible.
As we observe the full spectrum of human behavior we can use comparative reasoning to validate and verify that expressing high human traits and values, E.G., kindness, compassion, respect, gratitude, etc., are not only the pinnacle of human expression but build and enhance the relationships we have with ourselves and others. This website and course material are designed to help us peer through the conflict and confusion of human dysfunction and adversarialism and reasonable and effective ways in which we can effectively and readily identify and minimize or eliminate these dehumanizing and debilitating influences in our lives. High Universal Traits, Values and Behaviors are not a belief system or ideology. They are simply the highest expression of homeostasis all living beings are posses. This means that you already have the genetic programming to be an incredible, loving, kind, respectful, compassionate, and charitable human being. Through our commitment to learn how to use, improve, and express these values and skills on a daily basis we will incrementally build the best version of us possible.
Sensory Skill Set Development
This course also offers sensory skill set development through exercises designed to enhance self and spatial awareness. The objective is to help you develop enhanced sensitivity and more acute observation skills to detect subtle dysfunctional behavior. As well, to use your investigative ability to scan your mental, physical, and social environments to more accurately define specific elements that trigger you or others to involuntary express dysfunction.
An example of this would be negative self talk and self deprecating humor. While the humor can be funny to you and others, it reveals how the subconscious selects stored memory behaviors from our memory response database and then automates and animates our internal dialog scripts to express the associated relevant negative thoughts. Exposing self-sabotaging, disrespectful, dehumanizing, and debilitating subconscious programming you acquired from others earlier in your life need to be defined, addressed, and resolved. The truth is, our negative memory response behaviors will not fix themselves. They generally require conscious willful intent and positive emotional influence. Not by focusing on what we don’t want. But, by effectively and accurately using emotional values of gratitude and inspiration to engage neuroplasticity while focusing and visualizing what we do want. You, me, and every other family member of Mankind has been using these mechanics every day of our lives for thousands of generations. The exercises and skills to accomplish this are compiled in this course in a way that allows everyone easier access to meaningful personal development.

(neural plasticity) n. the ability of the brain to develop new neurons and/or new synapses in response to stimulation and learning. Recent research shows that the brain retains its plasticity throughout life, more or less, depending on the person’s state of health, etc. Following injury to the brain, neuroplasticity may allow uninjured areas to take over the processes previously carried out by the injured areas.

Synaptic (Neural) Pruning
Synaptic pruning is thought to be the brain’s way of removing connections in the brain that are no longer needed. Researchers have recently learned that the brain is more “plastic” and moldable than previously thought. Synaptic pruning is our body’s way of maintaining more efficient brain function as we get older and learn new complex information.
