What Makes the Best Version of You?
The objective of this worksheet is to begin honestly and sincerely questioning our current perceptions of reality about who we are now and who we want to be. This inquiry and review offers us the opportunity to discover and refine those values that truly enhance the best version of ourselves. As well, those values that can improve the quality in the relationships we have with others.
While our journey through this course is to develop a better version of who we want to be, it is important to realize that this process takes time. It takes time and practice in order to build the neural and muscle memory networks that will eventually automate the behavior responses that express the best of who we choose to be. Basically, our biology detects those environment signals that have or are perceived to have emotional value and observe and record the information into potential behavior responses for future us. Overtime, we can easily observe millions of emotional events. So it stands to reason that our mind would have access to millions of potential memory behavior response by the time we reach our teenage years.
